Helen Evelyn Schroeder Lewer
Helen Evelyn Lewer, 80, of Waseca died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2008 at Immanuel St. Joseph's Hospital in Mankato.
She is survived by her husband, Donald of Waseca; three children, Alan (Diane) Lewer, Brian (Cindy) Lewer, and Kari Gehring all of Waseca; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Elvera "Geri" Kriesel and one brother, Norbert (Clara) Schroeder all of Owatonna; one brother-in-law, Orlin Lewer of New Richland; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law Eugene Kriesel, and one sister-in-law Ruth Lewer.
Visitation will be held at Kinder-Dennis Home for Funerals in Waseca on Sunday, Aug. 24 from 4-8 p.m. and continue on Monday, one hour before services at the church. Funeral services will be held on Monday Aug. 25 at 11a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Meriden with the Rev. Gary Rusinko officiating. Burial will follow at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca.
