Jeanette C. Lindow, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away Wednesday morning, November 14, 2018 at Pine Haven Christian Home. She was 90 years old.

Jeanette was born May 18, 1928 in Sheboygan, the daughter of Lyman and Esther (nee Altenburg) Rockafellow. She attended school in Sheboygan Falls. On June 12, 1954, she was united in marriage with Leonard Lindow at St. Paul's in Sheboygan Falls. The couple raised their family in the town of Sheboygan.

A former member of Faith UCC, Jeanette was active in the choir, taught Sunday school, led the youth choir and participated in the Ladies' Aide.

After Leonard's retirement, the couple moved to Arizona, and continued their adventures traveling and camping. After Leonard's passing in 2003, Jeanette returned to the Sheboygan Falls area.

Jeanette loved arts and crafts, including knitting, pottery, painting, embroidery and cross-stitch. The cross-stitched Christmas stockings she made for her family, including a beloved foreign exchange student from Germany, will be cherished for years to come. She also enjoyed baking, and sharing it with everyone.

Her faith, attitude and sense of humor the last few months was a gift to her entire family. Thank you, mom.

Jeanette is survived by her children: Noreen (Patrick) Flook of Sheboygan Falls and Daniel (Laura) Lindow of the town of Sheboygan. She is further survived by her grandchildren: Laura (Tom) Van Der Puy, Steven (Lisa) Flook and Theresa, Michael, Jennifer and Ashley Lindow; great-grandchildren: Nicole, Jordon, Amber, Mason, Meghan and Kyle; great-great-grandchildren: Henry, Gwynn, Emmerik and Ophelia; sister Naomi (Ralph) Rohr of AZ, brother-in-law Richard DeYoung of Sheboygan Falls, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
