Mrs. Foreman was born Bertha E. Fritze on March 18, 1906, at Strong City and was a resident of Salina for two years, moving from Wichita. She taught in a one-room school at Strong City and was a case worker for the Internal Revenue Service at Wichita, retiring in a971. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Wichita. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank. Survivors include a sister, Marguerite Lawless of Cottonwood Falls; four nieces; and three nephews. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Grace Lutheran Church, Strong City, the Rev. Clarence Marquardt officiating. Burial will be in Strong City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, Strong City, or Salina Hospice. Visitation wo;; be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 8 p,m, Thursday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401 and before the service Friday at the church, Strong City. |
