| 1. | His obituary was published on his Find-A-Grave Memorial on 06/17/2015. [2] Donn Charles Lenihan, 82, of Rogers, Ark., passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2015, in Bentonville, Ark. He was born Jan. 4, 1933, in York to Charles and Ina (Culbertson) Lenihan. Donn grew up, earned his Eagle Scout badge, and graduated high school in 1950 in Fremont. He graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a pharmacy degree and worked at Brown Drug, Fremont. Donn married Nancy Cherny on June 25, 1955, in North Bend. They moved to Logan, Iowa, where he managed Eby Drug for 15 years, was a Boy Scout leader, and involved in the Masonic Lodge and Chamber of Commerce. They moved to Rogers in 1974; he worked at Freddie's Pharmacy until retiring in 2005. Donn enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf and time with his family. Donn is survived by daughters, Kim (Kent) Myers, of Bentonville, Kristy (Douglas) Mitchell of Tulsa, Okla., Diane (Steve) McNabb of Alba, Mo., Denise (Jim) Wiseman of Owasso, Okla.; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 55 years, Nancy, a sister Sherrill Bloch, and grandson Caleb Hicks. She was born on May 10, 1934, in Omaha, Nebraska, to the late Leon J. and Marie (Simodynes) Cherny. She was the loving wife of Donn C. Lenihan. She grew up in North Bend, Nebraska. Nancy attended Midland College and the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, where she earned her teaching degree. Nancy married Donn on June 25, 1955 in North Bend and enjoyed 58 wonderful years together. She worked as a teacher for rural schools in Saunders County, Nebraska and North Bend, Nebraska. She was a nurse's aide, co-owned a craft store, owned "Gypsy Fair" clothing store in Rogers, Arkansas, and worked for Glad Manufacturing. She was a real entrepreneur and enjoyed experiencing life. Nancy enjoyed spending time with family and playing bridge. She was a member of PEO, a Girl Scout and 4-H leader, and was on the City Council in Logan, Iowa. Nancy is survived by her husband of Rogers; four daughters, Kim (Kent) Myers of Bentonville, Kristy (Doug) Mitchell, of Oklahoma, Diane (Steve) of Missouri, Denise (Jim) Wiseman of Oklahoma; sister, Carol Asche, of California; 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Joan Hall and Marjorie Spomer; and grandson, Caleb Hicks. The family is having a private service at a later date.
