Alma

Merrill Fritze's oil truck caught fire while filling a fuel barrel at the Ollie Anderson place Friday. He called for help from Maike's since there was no one home at Anderson's and Darrell Collins brought fire extinguishers from the station and 25 carloads of men came and formed a bucket brigade and all working together soon had the fire out. The cab and all but one side of the truck were burned. [17]
