1. | Her obituary was published on her Find-A-Grave Memorial on 09/29/2008. [3] Frances Catherine Hamm of OKC, OK passed away June 2, 2002. She was born February 6, 1924 in Bronx, New York. She married Herman Dwayne Hamm on February 9, 1946. She was an active member of St. Andrews Catholic Church in Moore, OK, where she is also a member of the Altar Society. She enjoyed going with her friend, Florence, to nursing homes to do communion and visit with the elderly. Frances was on the executive board of the Robertsons Womens Guild of the community and served as a historian. She worked as a volunteer for various projects with the PTA and was involved in her grandchildrens school activities. Frances had a wonderful sense of humor that her family and friends enjoyed at many family gatherings including a yearly Saint Patrick's Day celebration with the wonderful tales of Ireland and her mother's voyage from Ireland to Ellis Island. She was loved by her family and many friends. Her spirit will continue to live in her children and grandchildren who inherited her wit and humor. May she rest in peace and forever more. She is survived by her children Steven Hamm & wife Vicki of Moore, OK; Karen Jenkins of Helena, AL; and Marilyn Culbertson & husband Lewis and children Meeghann (14) Clinton (12) and Connor; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren, Mark Hamm of Moore, OK and Daniel Jenkins of Helena, AL; Laura Jenkins Rymer & husband Steve and children Thomas (2) and Aaron (6wks) of Helena, AL; brother Thomas Healy of San Francisco, CA. She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Mary Healy; her husband Herman Dwayne Hamm, and her sister. Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 6, 2002 at the St. Andrews Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens. Services under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel. |
