Mr. Lakow who was born in Fond du Lac, Wisc., Jan. 19, 1882, came to Portland 70 years ago. He retired in 1951 after 33 years in the service division of Portland Gas & Coke Co. He was a member of Local 133, International Chemical Workers Union, and Trinity Lutheran Church. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Erna D. Lankow, one daughter, Mrs. Henrietta Bork; two sons, Albert Lankow and Bruno Lankow, and four grandchildren, all of Portland. Entombment will be in Riverview Cemetery.
