| 1. | Her obituary was published on her Find-A-Grave Memorial on 07/10/2011. Died - At the residence of Capt Tainter, in Menomonie, Sept 5th, 1881, Mrs Elizabeth Lloyd Hepburn, wife of Charles Hep-burn, of Prairie Farm, aged 48 years, 1 month and 20 days. The subject of this notice was born July 15, 1833. In 1856 was married to Mr. Henry Strobridge, who died in 1863. January 29, 1864, she was married to Mr. Charles Hepburn who now mourns her loss. She was sick for seven months, and endured her long and painful illness with patience and fortitude. Three weeks before her death, her physician advised her removal to Menomonie where he could watch her case more closely. For a while she seemed to rally and hopes were entertained of her ultimate recovery, but heart difficulty de-veloped suddenly which caused her death. She was a kind neighbor, a strong friend and a loving and devoted wife and mother. Ever ready and quick to relieve suffering, to aid in time of sickness and to sympathize with those in affliction. She leaves behind her many who will cherish her memory and sadly miss her kind and cheering presence. Her domestic relations were unusually happy; being reverenced and devotedly loved by her husband and daughters, who are now prostrated with sorrow at her loss. May He who chastens but in love, comfort the afflicted. Her remain8 were brought home for interment, the services being con-ducted by the the writer.
