Elias Rabenstine.

Elias Rabenstine dies January 22d at the home of his son, John E Rabenstine, of Hanover, Pa., from the result of a stroke of paralysis received on Sunday evening, January 18. The attack rendered him unconscious, in which condition he remained until death occurred last Friday morning. He was aged 80 years, 1 month and 22 days.

Deceased was a son of the late John Rabenstine, of West Manheim township. He was a farmer by occupation and a school teacher by profession. He was married about 58 years ago to Miss Mary Weaver, Daughter of George Weaver, of West Manheim township, who dies fice years ago. About two years ago Mr. Rabenstine moved to Hanover, where he has resided with his son. He is survived by two daughters and two sons--Mrs. Wiliam Richard and Mrs. Isabelle Bortner, of Carroll county, Md.; John E. and Cyrus Rabenstine, of Hanover.

Funeral services were held Saturday, January 24, at 8 a.m., at the house, where short services were held by Rev. J. A. Metzger, after which the funeral party took the 9.23 train on the W. M. Railroad for Lineboro, this county, where services were held and interment made at Lazarus Church, Rev. H. H. Flick officiating.
