| 1. | Her obituary was published on her Find-A-Grave Memorial on 02/10/2010. Gladys A. Ringhofer, 87, of Owatonna, died Thursday, February 11, 2010 at Homestead Hospice House. She was born September 22, 1922 in Steele Co., Minnesota the daughter of Robert and Elsie (Mussman) Grunklee. Gladys attended rural school in Steele County. Gladys married Leonard Ringhofer on November 24, 1943 at St. John Lutheran Church Havana Township. The couple lived and farmed together on the farm, which Leonard was born. Leonard died December 24, 1994, Gladys then later moved into town in 1999. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, enjoyed gardening, canning, her grandchildren, and great grandchildren, fishing with her sister and brother in law, and going to the casino. She is survived by her children, Donna (and Tom) Harris, Ronald (and Sharon) Ringhofer, Dale (and Karen) Ringhofer all of Owatonna. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, two sisters, Lois (and Ken) Hunt of Owatonna and Bernice Wilkie of Indianapolis. Her husband, sister Phyllis Groby, and two infant brothers preceded her in death. Visitation will be at Michaelson Funeral Home on Sunday, February 14, 2010 from 2-6 PM and at St. John Lutheran Church on Monday from 9-10 AM. Funeral service will be held Monday, February 15, 2010 at 10:00 AM at St. John Lutheran Church with Reverend Dave Klawiter officiating. Interment will be in the St. John Cemetery in Owatonna. Memorials are preferred to St. John Lutheran Church, or Homestead Hospice House. |
