A Well Known Veteran Dead
Isreal Seitzinger, one of the best known citizens of the upper end of the county and well remembered in Pottsville, died yesterday morning at his home in Gordon, aged 74 years. Deceased was a brother of ex-Court Crier Jeremiah Seitzinger. He was a captain in the late civil war, and served his country well for nearly two years. He had become ill to a long term of years, The funeral will take place on Sunday morning at 10 o'clock, and interment will be made in Fountain Springs cemetery. In respect to his memory the flags at Soldiers' Monument are flying at half mast.
