| 1. | Her obituary was published. [2] Yvonne E. "Penny" Roemhildt, age 67 of Waseca, died on Thursday, September 25, 2008 at Lake Shore Inn, Waseca. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 27th, at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church Janesville with Rev. Dr. Larry Griffin officiating. Interment will be in the St. Johns-Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery in Iosco Township, Waseca County. Visitation will be held on Saturday morning from 9:00 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville. Arrangements are being completed by McRaith Funeral Home of Waseca. Yvonne Elsie was born on September 23, 1941 to Armin and Elsie (Ewert) Roemhildt in Waseca, Minnesota. Yvonne Penny was baptized on October 2, 1941 and confirmed on April 3, 1955, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville. Penny was a graduate of Waseca High School. Over the years she was employed with Winegar Brothers Inc. and E.F. Johnson Co, in Waseca. Penny was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville. Penny enjoyed playing bass guitar and keyboard for many local country western bands, including Sounds of Country. She is survived by her mother Elsie Roemhildt of Waseca and her sister Charlene Roemhildt of Shoreview; by her uncle Edwin (Bernice) Ewert of Janesville and her aunt Mabel Mende of Mankato, and many cousins and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father Armin on March 12, 1998; by her maternal grandparents Art and Martha Ewert and her paternal grandparents Rudolf and Melinda Roemhildt; by several aunts and uncles. |
