Kinney, 56, of Aurora, Colo., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 1999, in Aurora after a long illness. Services were held Friday in Aurora. Graveside services: 1:30 p.m. today, Calvary Cemetery, Ryan. Arrangements are with Teahen Funeral Home. Survivors include a sister, Eleanor Krejci and husband Bill of Hiawatha; a brother, Dan Kinney of Cedar Rapids; three nieces; a nephew; and his dog, Mitzi. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was born April 20, 1943, in Cedar Rapids, to William and Evelyn English Kinney. Ron graduated from Mankato State University and received his master's from Colorado State University in 1986. He served in the Peace Corps, was a Marine veteran and worked extensively with the Arthritis Foundation.
