Mrs. Wilhelmina Woker, aged and highly respected resident of Meriden Twp., died last Friday morning after a prolonged illness with cancer.

The deceased was one of the best known women in the western part of the county and was one of the early settlers of that section. Her husband died about fifteeen years ago. She was the mother of six grown children. Mrs. Woker was a tender-hearted woman and was for many years and active member of the Lutheran church in Meriden. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at two o"clock and was largely attended.
