OBITUARY - Harold M. Schroeder, former Wasecan, dies Harold M. Schroeder, 50, of St. Paul and formerly of Waseca, died today (9-18-78) at the Queen Nursing Home, Minneapolis. He had been ill one year.

He was born June 23, 1928 to Adolph and Laura (Plath) Schroeder in Waseca.

He attended Waseca schools, graduating in 1946. He was employed many years at Birds Eye Division of General Foods before moving to St. Paul in 1963.

He was married to Iola Root at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Waseca. The Rev. Eifert officiated.

Preceding him in death are his parents, two sisters and three brothers.

Surviving members of his family include four children: Timothy Schroeder of Waseca; Laurie Schroeder of Cincinnati, Ohio; Richard Schroeder and Thomas Schroeder of Owatonna; two sisters: Mrs. K.T. (Evelyn) McHugo of Mankato and Mrs. I.N. (Lois) Evans of Waseca; and a brother, Raymond Schroeder of Bloomington.

Friends may call at the Kinder Home for Funerals 2-9 p.m. Tuesday and 8-9:30 a.m. Wednesday and one hour before services at the church. Funeral services will be Wednesday at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Waseca.
