John L Fritze
John L. Fritze, 75, of 24 Dorothy Street, died early Sunday morning at My Sinai Hospital, after a short illness. Mr. Fritze was born in Austria and had lived in Hartford for more than 40 years. He was a machinist and had been employed vy the Colt Patent Fire Arms Manufacturing Company and later by the Royal Typewriter Company. He was an honorary member of the Hartford Maennerchor. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Hannah Fritze; two sons, John A. Fritze of Springfield, Mass., and Emil J. Fritze of Hartford; and three daughters, Mrs. John P. Watson, Mrs. Francis O'Hara and Mrs. James Delaney, all of Hartford; and six grandchildren. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. at the funneral home of J. J. & F. Ahern, 35 Chapel Street, with requiem mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Mt. St. Bendict Cemetery.
