John A. Fritze

John A. Fritze, 73, of 297 Chapin Ter., Springfield, Mass., husband of the late Irene Hughes Fritze, died Tuesday at his home. He was born in Hartford and had lived in Springfield for 40 years. He leaves a son, Warren Fritze of California; two daughters, Mrs. June Ashton of East Hampton and Mrs. Barbara Moylan of West Springfield, Mass., three sisters, Mrs. Hannah Watson, Mrs. Katherine O'Hara and Mrs. James Delaney, all of Hartford; 18 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. The funeral will be held at the Edward F. O'Donnall Funeral Home, 494 Chestnut St., Springfield, Mass., Friday at 9:30 a.m. with a Solemn Requiem Mass in Our Lady of Hope Church at 10:15 a.m. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Springfield. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 2 p.m. to 4 and 7 to 9.
