Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 28, at the First Lutheran Church, Kenyon, for Otto C. Holta, 60, who passed away at the Veterans Hospital, Hot Springs, S.D., on Friday, March 24. He was born in Aurora, Ill., to Jacob and Oletta Holta on March 2, 1907. He served in the Armed Forces in the Pacific Area during World War II. He entered the Veterans Hospital in 1956. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Oletta Holta, a resident at the Kenyon Sunset Home and one brother, Kenneth Holta, Owatonna. His father, Jacob and two brothers, Clarence and an infant, preceded him in death. Arthur Nelson, Iver Eillingboe, Edward Ellingboe, Gilman Satron, Carl Stav and Lionel McQuillan served as pallbearers. Interment was at the Kenyon Cemetery.
