Cleric's Mother, In Nova Scotia

Mrs. Matilda M. Fritze, of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, mother of the Rev. Carroll Fritze, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church, Fullerton, died yesterday morning at home. She was the widow of A.E.L. Fritze, a former Lunenburg County Councilman. He died in 1952.

Born in Mahone Bay, she was the daughter of the Late Isaiah L and Anna Elizabeth (Zwicker) Joudrey.

Besides her son, she is survived by a daughter Vera, wife of Lorimer N. Palmer of Aylesford, Nova Scotia; two other sons Victor, a Lunenburg councilman with whom she resided, and Otto, head of the psychology department of the Sarnia, Ont., school system; 10 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be Tuesday in Lunenburg.
